A fusion of minimalist and contemporary modern encompasses the design of this condominium unit at Citylights, 82 Jellicoe Road.
The decoration style for the unit is defined by simplicity and subtle sophistication with a deliberate use of textures and clean lines. The space is also kept uncluttered yet cosy and functional with soft and neutral tones for the colour palette.
We started off with adding brown, white and grey to add a sense of cosiness, depth and balance to the unit.
To evoke the impression of a vibrant atmosphere without taking away the warmth and cosiness, we opted for larger furniture: a large and unique dining table and a big work of art in between the kitchen and living area.
A kitchen island was also included at our client’s request to maximize space and to give more in terms of usage and functionality.
Together with the unit’s open-plan space, it helps the whole family to enjoy modern living to the fullest. To open up the space more, we hacked away the kitchen wall that separates the other half of the kitchen, exposing the window to allow natural light in so as to further brighten up the space.
